More a work of art than a simple doorknobs and backplates.  The antique original is marked "Russwin" (formerly R&E), the famous Russell & Erwin manufacturers.  We assume that the originals were custom made, not a stock item.  The Morris influence is strong in this design.

This Interior Mortise Privacy Set locks from one side using a turnlatch.

Each Set Includes:

• 1 Door Plate with Lower Doorknob Only Function
• 1 Door Plate with Lower Doorknob & Turnlatch Function
• 2 Doorknobs with the Connecting Spindle
• 1 Mortise Lock with Turnlatch Function (choice of 2 ¼" or 2 ⁵⁄₈" backset)

Measurements:

• Door Plates:  2 ⁵⁄₈" wide by 17 ³⁄₈" long.
• Doorknobs:  2 ¼" diameter; each projects 1 ¾".
• Mortise Locks:
  • 2 ¼" Backset Lock:
    • Lock Body:  3 ¾" tall x 2 ⁷⁄₈" deep x ⁵⁄₈" thick.
    • Faceplate:  1" wide x 6" tall; ³⁄₁₆" thick.
    • Strike Plate:  4 ½" tall x 1" wide (plus tongue).
    • Distance from the center of the turnlatch receiver to the center of the doorknob spindle hub is 2 ½".
  • 2 ⁵⁄₈" Backset Lock:
    • Lock Body:  3 ¾" tall x 3 ³⁄₁₆" deep, and ⁵⁄₈" thick.
    • Faceplate:  1" wide x 6" tall; ³⁄₁₆" thick.
    • Strike Plate:  4 ½" tall x 1" wide (plus tongue).
    • Distance from the center of the turnlatch receiver to the center of the doorknob spindle hub is 2 ½".
