ZE-561 Antique Reproduction Bird Motif Door Plate c 1887
Tall & narrow Victorian backplate by R&E, featured in Catalog VII in 1887. Lost wax cast, it has been given an antique brass patina and lacquered to preserve its tone. Note the detailed birds design near the center of the door plate.
Distance from the center of the doorknob receiver to center of the 1st keyhole round bit is 2 1/4", and 4" to the 2nd keyhole.
